Louie Pellon was called to Voiture Everlasting February 10, 2012
The services for PDC Louie Pellon are set for this Thursday February 16th.
Viewing is at 8:00AM, Rosary at 9:00AM; Carrillo’s Tucson Mortuary, 204 N. Stone Ave followed by Mass, 10:30AM at St Augustine Cathedral next door to the mortuary. Burial will be at Holy Hope Cemetery at 3555 N. Oracle Rd. about Noon. Reception will follow at Post 7, 150 N. Franklin.

Born September 21, 1926 in Tucson, Arizona where he has resided all his life with exception of the two years he served in the United States Navy.

American Legion:
Louie has always and will be a Legionnaire first and foremost; he joined Morgan McDermott Post 7 in 1946 after returning home from naval service and has been a continuous member for 62 years. He has served on virtually every operating committee in the Post and served as Post Commander in 1964. On the local level he has served as Membership, Memorial Day Program and Child Welfare Chairman. He has served or headed the following committees Executive, Baseball, Finance, Audit and Budget, Americanism, Veterans Day Parade and has served as Post Ritulist for many years. He served as President of the Post Past Commanders Club, originated and chaired “Old Timers” night since 1964. For these activities Louie was awarded and honorary life membership in 1969 in Post 7.
On the District level he served as District Commander in 1965 and 1966, District Judge Avocat, Audit Committee and Ritual Team Director.
Louie was elected Arizona Department Commander in 1975
